Live Wild blends are designed as hydration formulas - not supplements you choke down with breakfast. They work best when drunk between meals, properly prepared, and actually enjoyed.
Here's why preparation matters.
These are drinks, not smoothie add-ins. Most greens powders taste so bad they need to be hidden in a banana smoothie or stirred into a breakfast bowl. Live Wild blends are formulated to taste good on their own - mixed with water or coconut water, not buried under other ingredients. They're meant to be drunk solo, between meals, so your body can focus on what you're giving it.
Blend properly - or don't bother. These are whole plant powders: freeze-dried fruits, greens, mushrooms, and adaptogens. They're real ingredients. A quick stir can leave clumps floating on top and half the powder stuck to the bottom of your glass.
Three ways to prepare:
1. NutriBullet or blender Add 6g powder, 200ml chilled water (or coconut water, or a mix), a few cubes of ice. Blend for 20-30 seconds. Pour and drink. Clean, smooth, no sediment. Amazing on a super hot afternoon or after a sauna.
2. Hand frother or milk frother (quick and effective) Add 6g of powder to your glass, pour 100ml water, froth for 15-20 seconds until fully integrated. Add remaining 100ml cold water and ice. Stir once. Done. Add slioce of lemon or mint if you fancy it.
3. Shaker bottle with whisk ball (portable) Add powder, cold water, shake hard for 30 seconds. Let it sit for 10 seconds, shake again. The whisk ball breaks up clumps the first shake misses. Pour the shaken blend over ice. Enjoy.
A spoon and some hope? It's not the best option, but can do in a pinch.. The powders are made from real wholefood ingredients and work best when blended in with a hand held frother, shaker or blender / nutribullet.
Serve them cold. Not for mystical reasons - for practical ones. Research shows people drink more when beverages are chilled. Hydration formulas work when you finish the glass. Cold also brings out the natural flavour: the brightness of mint and pineapple in Super Greens, the berry depth in Super Reds.
Add ice. Add a slice of lemon or cucumber if you want. Pour over coconut water instead of plain water or a 50/50 mix. These small choices make the difference between something you look forward to and something you forget about by day three.
Pleasure is part of the medicine. The ease and ritual of making them and the pleasure of drinking them.
Drink between meals, not with them. These aren't digestive aids. They're electrolytes, adaptogens, and antioxidants designed for hydration and sustained energy. Morning works. Mid-afternoon works. With food? Less effective. Your digestive system is busy with something else.
The goal isn't ritual for ritual's sake. It's this: make it good enough that you actually drink it every day. Consistency is what makes adaptogens work. Sporadic won't do much.
Blend well. Serve cold. Sip slow. Enjoy.
